Wymo has developed the best way of using a sling for situations where a patient needs to be extended over a pool, spa, bath, bed, horse or boat. A Wymo Universal sling hoist will give access where a mobile hoist will not be able to in these occasions (with no risk of tipping over). This hoist has been developed and refined over a period of 15 years; the current model has a 900mm reach (which can be reduced) and can be solar powered and multiple baseplates cna be provided.

To use the hoist you first fit the sling around the hoist user then attach the sling to the spreader bar. Press up to raise the hoist user from the seat then pivot the jib over the Pool (spa, bath, etc) and lower the hoist user with the switch box. When the hoist user is in the water (bed, etc) the sling is removed. When the hoist user is ready just attach the sling to the person then to the spreader bar then press up on the switch.
